The WCVM application is supported using Internet Explorer or Safari browsers.

You may log in and out of this site many times in preparing your application. There will be a final PAY panel followed by a SUBMIT panel once you have entered all the required material. Required fields will be in RED. Panels with outstanding fields will show with RED buttons. The SUBMIT panel will have a number of questions that you must answer before completing the final application submission. After you have submitted successfully, you will be able to log back in to check the status of your application, but you will not be able to make any changes.

UofS Students: Please use your NSID (Network Services ID).
Non-UofS Students: Please signup with a username (your email address) and password (make up a new password, do not use your actual email password).

All applicants to the WCVM must be a resident of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories or Nunavut.

   Fall 2019 Admissions Pilot Project

This year, the WCVM will admit five more students to Year 1 of its Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program through a one-year admissions pilot project. These five students will be admitted in addition to the 78 first-year students whose seats are provincially funded. For full details, please click below.

Pilot Program

- Applications will open beginning 15-Oct-18
- The final deadline for submission of your application is midnight CST 01-Dec-18
- The application fee of $100.00 CAD (non refundable) must be paid online in full by credit card.
- Official transcripts must be sent directly from all colleges/universities attended. (U of S transcripts are not required to be sent). Applicants currently attending university should delay sending transcripts from current institutions until December final grades are reported.
